STANDARD TYPES OF PANELS

The main feature of ACOUSTIC PLIT decorative panels, along with fire resistance, environmental friendliness and durability, is the opportunity to choose the type and size of perforation. In order to determine the required type of perforation, it is necessary to take into account the tasks, which acoustic panels will fulfill in the room. Panels can be produced with different types of coating, types and sizes of perforation depending on the acoustic project and aesthetic wishes of the customer. Sound absorption can be enhanced by the additional use of mineral wool in the space between the walls and the panels.

STANDART DINEMTIONS RANGE

Wall panels: width – 600/1250 mm. length – 600/2500/3000 mm. Ceiling panels: 600x600, 600x1200 mm. (suitable for installation in standard modular system). Panel thickness: 10/12/14 mm. Panels of non-standard sizes and configurations can be produced to order.

STANDARD PERFORATION

Through circular perforations: 16x16x10 (16x32x10) mm.
Arrangement: solid and staggered.
Double perforation: round on the back side.
Non-cross, front side: slotted perforation.

PANEL CONSTRUCTION

The most popular base for fire-resistant decorative panels’ production is gypsum particle board (GPB). GPB is used for producing panels of first fire safety class (KM1) (hardly combustible). The main technological advantage of GPB panels among other panels of first fire safety class is their durability. Panels based on MDF are perfect for premises with a reduced fire hazard.

The outer surface of ACOUSTIC PLIT panels can be represented by:

— Natural veneer, multi-veneer (more than 200 types)

— PVC film (lamination of fire-resistant wall materials by PVC film (eco-veneer). The durability of PVC film coating provides resistance to abrasion, which allows to use panels in premises with high permeability. PVC film decor is chosen according to the catalogues of film manufacturers.

— Coloring according to RAL, NCS catalogues (economical version of wall panels, sheet fire-resistant materials are decorated with water-based acrylic paint by direct gravure printing method). The paint used doesn’t affect the fire hazard class.

— HPL plastic coating (ACOUSTIC PLIT panels have increased anti-vandal properties, are not affected by chemicals and do not rub off). You can choose your favorite HPL plastic from the manufacturer's catalogues.

— Coating with a fireproof varnish (does not hide the pores and texture of wood, performs a protective function, saving the surface of the panels from moisture, dirt, sunlight and other unfavorable factors.

ACOUSTIC PLIT panels have fire protection properties (first class of fire safety (KM1)), providing additional safety in buildings and public places, which is confirmed by the Certificate of Conformity to the Technical Regulations on Fire Safety Requirements and test protocols.

During walls paneling there is no need to prepare a perfect wall surface, a layer of usual rough plaster, which reduces the time and coast of finishing works by 40%. All irregularities and communications remain hidden behind the panels. If necessary, each panel can be easily removed.
